This is the classic portable 1/2 oz bottle of habanero infused avocado oil. Made from just 2 simple ingredients: avocado oil and habanero peppers.

My 2 brothers and I have been making this for ourselves for 9 years, and are now bringing it to fellow spice lovers. In that time we haven't found a good replacement that offers:

• Quality ingredients (and only two).
• High heat.
• Subtle flavor.
• Portable bottle.

We think there's a need, and we're seeing if others agree.

We care deeply about sourcing good ingredients and maintaining the quality of those ingredients with minimal processing. We buy organic, cold pressed, unrefined avocado oil and high quality peppers. We then "cold" steep the oil at room temp in small batches for up to 5 weeks. This leaves the avocado oil with a beautiful spicy heat and orange habanero color. 

This is a spicy condiment perfect for almost any savory dish. We take it with us when dining out all the time. It's perfect for providing spice without changing the flavor of your meal. The chef already made it taste great, now you get to dial up the spice independently.

We also use it when cooking large shared dishes at home. Instead of cooking a spicy version and a non-spicy version we just cook a single delicious version. "Max, can you please pass the habanero oil?" is a common saying around the dinner table.

It's also great for travel. The bottle fits perfectly in the tiny front jeans pocket. I use it when traveling to my local pizza joint or across the pond to Florence (on pasta this is pure heave). Over the past 9 years I've personally taken it on numerous flights and to at least 4 continents. And, a note on leaking: I have never had a bottle leak in all those years even on long flights, walking around, sitting, etc. That's not to say it can't leak (you'll want to make sure the cap is tight) but the track record so far is pretty darn good.
